How Can a Painful Cyst On The Testicles Be Treated?
Hi there I have a question about a cyst on my testicles. It s a pretty big cyst and have had since I was 14 it defenetly stands out. I m 18 now and wanted to ask If there is anything I can do to remove it or do I have to have a doctor take a look at it
In your situation as you told me you are having a testicular cyst which is also called spermatocele. This is a benign condition and usually have small size like 1 cm and is painless. It usually does not require treatment, it goes own by its owner because it's a fluid collection with dead sperms.
But there are certain conditions where you need surgical intervention.
If you are having any pain and size is consistently increasing or discomfort then spermatocelectomy. This is a procedure to remove you testicular cyst.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Waqqas Shaheen,
